Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry, a non-profit organization serving tuckers and travelers in the greater Carlisle area, is looking to hire a part time (possibly full time) chaplain. The purpose of the Ministry is to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through meeting the emergency and spiritual needs of truckers and travelers. In particular, the chaplain will provide the assistance to individuals who work at, or use, the truck stops, terminals and distribution facilities in the Carlisle area by providing a listening ear, comfort, spiritual guidance, transportation, meals, limited financial assistance and referrals to local support agencies.
